How to install Print Server in WINXP
1. From Windows desktop, click Start->Settings->Control Panel

2. In the Pick a category, double click the Printers and Other Hardware.

3. select Add a printer

4. click Next

5. In the Local or Network Printer dialog box, select Local printer attached to this computer,
, uncheck Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer check box, and click Next.

6. In the Select a Printer Port dialog box, select Use the following port.
Verify that LPT1 (default setting) is selected in the Use the following port dialog box, and click Next.

7. In the Install Printer Software dialog box, select a printer which you used.
For example: Canon Bubble-Jet BJC-5500
Click Next.

8. In the Name your Printer dialog box, type a name for your printer.
For example: Canon Bubble-Jet BJC-5500
Click Next.

9. In the Printer Sharing dialog box, select Do not share this printer, and click Next

10. In the Printer Test Page dialog box, select No check box, and click Next

¡@
11. Click the ¡§Finish¡¨ button to exit.

12. Enter the properties of printer icon

13. On the Ports tab, click

14. In the Printer Ports dialog box, select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click New Port

15. click Next

16. On the Printer Name or IP Address, enter the IP address of Printer.
Note: It's P-335U's LAN IP address.

18. On the Port Settings tab, check LPR check box, and input the default queue
name of print server: ¡§LP1¡¨. Then click ¡§OK¡¨.

20. Click Finish.

21. Click Close to close the window.

23. Now, your print server has been successfully installed via LPR. Click OK.
